Hehe, it was the same for me. Of course I remebered Olivia Coman's character's name, it's not as if Hardy hadn't screamed 'Millllllaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa' enough over the course of series 1 :P, but I had some issues with others.

Wife and I just finished broadchurch on netflix. We both loved it.
I had a formula for figuring the bad guy in Murder She Wrote, but I didn't figure Broadchurch out.
Now we are onto The Killing.

Hope this isn't too silly a question, but I haven't watched series 1 of Broadchurch but did enjoy Gracepoint (Tennant's accent notwithstanding, lol)...not sure if I'll be able to watch series 1 of Broadchurch before series 2 comes out in Canada...will series 2 of Broadchurch be enjoyable/make sense if I've only seen Gracepoint? Thanks...

Welcome to the dark side, DarthMaeglin!
I haven't seen Gracepoint, but from what I've read they didn't change much and even used big chunks of the UK dialogue. I think they changed the circumstances of Danny's death somewhat, but if you can manage to find the scenes from the arrest and the confession somewhere on the net, you should be fine. You'll have to get used to the characters wearing different faces though :P

See if you can just catch the last episode of S1 Broadchurch somewhere. Or honestly, just read the wikipedia. There's probably a table even matching up the character/place names. i.e. Broadchurch = Gracepoint
    Emitt Carver = DI Hardy
Solano family = Latimer family, etc.

I'd probably just read the wikipedia article lol

Cool, thanks for the feedback and the welcome, I'm keeping my eyes open for the first series, if I haven't seen it by the time series 2 comes along, I'll follow up with the wiki suggestion. Now just hope we don't have to wait too long for the second series, lol. Still pissed about Jack Reinhold's fate on Gracepoint, lol.

Haven't been active on a forum since the 24 show boards, so it's been awhile, lol. Just joined here, and like the look and feel of things so far.

Anyone else sorely disappointed by this season? Either there's a huge twist that makes it all worth or they should have stuck with one series. Grrr.

I've read that people are calling it Boredchurch. I think those people are crazy. If I had a complaint it would be that it took 6 episodes for Ellie to put her kid in his place. It kind of reminds me of the backlash over The Hangover 2. Of course you're gonna be disappointed by the second one if you're expecting the same thing again. The reason the first one was so good was you weren't expecting anything at all. If they don't renew for a 3rd I'll be disappointed. I dunno how many episodes they're doing, but I think they're close enough to the end of both the trial & Sandbrook to wrap things up nicely & throw in a teaser for a possible 3rd series.

I just finished the first season and it was really well done. I didn't know who the killer was until the end. Usually shows are much easier to tell who it is. Good show
