Thats their new scumbag tactics. They sell these things, then announce that the pre-order is filled.
Two weeks later you will then see that they now have quantities in stock(around 45-50) but now at the inflated secondary market price.

I totally missed the pricing on this - I guess they probably feel it's better to get the extra money vs the flippers on ebay?
I know some of these records sit on the shelves even though the presale is sold out. The store I went to this weekend had at least 4 of the Velvet Underground copies out.
Not condoning the price jack though....

I saw that too and got excited until I saw they doubled the price, the black reissue will just have to do.
