Saw them a few years back here in LA. While I obviously didn't understand what they were singing, their performance was pretty good. They were also joined by Flea and Josh from RHCP for their encore as well as Tunde and Kyp from TV on the Radio.

    Excellent!
I recently ordered a vinyl copy of "Imidiwan: Companions" which seemed like a good place to start.

    Any favorites of yours?

Good choice "imidiwan:companions". Is my favourite. There latest "emamaar" is great too and there more acoustic album ". Tassili". Can't go wrong with any of there albums, if you can get the DVD live in London you get a good taste of a live concert. Also check out tamikrest another band from the Sahara, similar in sound:)
