RIP Bobby Keys

Long-time saxophonist for the Rolling Stones died today at the age of 70. Played with everyone from Buddy Holly to Joe Cocker and the Beatles (solo and group) but was best remembered for his work with the Stones (Brown Sugar, Live with Me, Can't You Hear Me Knocking).

Very sad. I consider myself very lucky to have had several opportunities to see him do his damn thing with the Stones.

    Bummer. R.I.P. Bbby Keys.

Keith Richards tells some great stories about Keys in his book, Life. That's gotta be a tough one for Richards- they were good friends.

Same here... I last saw them on the 50 and Counting tour. Took this picture of him from inside the pit:

RIP ... I was also fortunate enough to see him several times on stones tours. I read in the news he was kicked out the stones in the 70's for partying to much ...
