I am looking to see if anyone out there would be interested in trading their 2010 NYC Donkey Kong poster for my show edition Moline poster. Let me know if you are interested in that trade. I would also be interested in selling the poster for $190.

I thought the trade (Moline for a Cracker Jack) was the most reasonable I had seen.

    Good Luck with your trade.

Oh yeah. That was reasonable too.

Thanks guys, I really don't want to seem like a flipper but if I can help someone out who is looking for the Moline poster I'm happy to trade it for the Donkey Kong.

I wouldn't trade a poster with proven value in the long run for a new poster like Moline. Only time will tell if the hype for Moline will last.

  • Yeah good luck, but I doubt anyone would just trade this straight up. The Kong is a 4 and a half year old poster while Moline will drop off.

Just the way the market works. I would sell it now if I were you then just throw cash at someone IMO.

I can understand that. I've just always liked the Donkey Kong poster, I didn't go the show so its not life or death if I get it.

I can't say I think the Moline print will drop off. Maybe people thought that about the DK print as well? Once everyone who wants one gets it and frames it then it will become much harder to acquire for those who decide later on they want it.

The differecne between MSG and Moline is considerable.

Plus the old school arcade feel will make the Kong a prized print for some time to come.

IMO Moline is overpriced and should come down but time will tell

I think it certainly will. It wasn't a crazy, epic tour closer show where 25k people were at in the Northeast to start. So idk how many people Moline holds but you will have almost 10k less people who were just at the show that want it. Right there makes a huge difference let alone the few people who collect posters from shows they didn't go to.

Moline is a cool poster if I was at the show, but that Kong is one of, if not the best Ames Bros posters since the '98 run.

I can understand that. I'm not trying to rip anyone off with this trade, if we're both happy then its a fair trade. I'm not holding my breath but if someone wants to trade then I'll be happy.

I would sell the King Kong in a heartbeat if I had one now. I actually did when I sold it for $30 the day I got in the mail from the 10c.
