Wondering the value of a sealed, never played Avocado vinyl?

Seen some confusing things on Ebay.

    On ebay it varies people pay ridiculous prices sometimes

    The prices for this seem to have spiraled out of control lately. Not sure why it happened to suddenly, but I have seen them sell for over $400 in the last little while. @-)

    Just be aware, there are bootleg versions out there. Counterfeit sealed copies on colored vinyl...
    The originals are rare and pretty expensive nowadays :-)

    Counterfeits are about $50-60 dollars (here in Europe)... I saw originals at a recent record fair priced at $300.

    That's what I thought too.

    Well, if you want some perspective as far as the pricing of this among 10c members only, I got one from another member (and great guy) for $175 last year, NM-. Ebay is a whole other story, and not a very pleasant one. ;)

    Sorry if I wasn't clear. I have some vinyl I am going through that I was wondering the value.

    You can check www.discogs.com. That has low, median, and high prices based on the previous 10 sales.... However, that can include a sale from years ago and a sale from yesterday, so you need to dig a little deeper. But it's a start, and does have things for sale on it today, so you can see what the asking prices are currently if there haven't been any actual sales recently.

    ebay, search pearl jam avocado under records and click "completed listings" it'll show you the most recent first.

    Last sealed went for 294, 227 and 299. Opened go from 180-240.

    That's a nice record to own.

    Oh and I got a steal for a sealed one at $185 a few months ago but that doesn't happen often.
