Spin clean, works awesome and are very reasonable for what you get! I clean my vinyl as soon as I get them....new or used, they get cleaned before I play them....best investment I ever bought for my vinyl!

This. It works SUPER well. I can't say enough about how much I love it and it's affordable. I highly recommend it! It does exactly what the company says it does, and the reviewers say it's the best bang for your buck by a long shot, and from what I know they are 100% right. http://www.spincleanrecordwasher.com/

Re: Spin clean...is it practical for cleaning 1 record? My impression is the solution sits in a bath at bottom of tub so that makes it seem like you should be cleaning multiple records at a time?

It's fine for one record. You only have to use a tiny bit of cleaner for each use, and that amount washes 1 to 50 records. You can get a big bottle and it will last a very long time because you use just a small capful each use. You can also leave the water and solution in there for up to a week and still use it whenever you feel like it.

It will work for just one record but it's best to do multiple at one session, can do 12", 10', + 7" by the change of 2 rollers with ease. But it's really user friendly as well, I'll wait til I have 8 to 10 new records and then I'll do me all at once!! any vinyl lover should own this!

How does Spin Clean deal with the labels though. I used Disco Antistat which is a similar concept but I found that a little of the solution would get on the labels and damage them.

The water perfectly funnels around the label on the grooves. I was worried about this too, but once I got one was more than pleasantly surprised that this isn't an issue AT ALL unless you spin it too fast. The water just flows around the labels like magic. It's kind of cool actually. But even if a drop or two does get on the label, the spin-clean solution doesn't damage it. I've spun too fast a couple of times, and the water ran across a bit, and you can't tell at all.
