I don't think so. I did a bit of research on it when I won one, and the prices were around there... average was probably $125. That was about a year ago. So $140 is probably about average now. Which is reasonable, yes. But they don't usually go for much more.

Some great prices on the singles. If it wasn't for the Money Order I would have been all over it. I hope they are going to a good home and not a flipper.

HOw come this is money order?
Money order does not offer a guarantee for the purchaser, unless I missed something.

Was curious about this too. Certainly the seller's prerogative to accept payment how they like but wondered why not PayPal? I dont do anything but and would have played with these if PayPal was an option.

Why should I lose money on paypal? When my money order method works just fine.

  • KingJeremyDKingJeremyD Posts: 2,313
Does paypal guarantee that the seller will ship the item?

Because it's not 1955.... Is the 3% really that important to you over convienence?

You can send as Family/Friend and not lose money? Or provide the option to the buyer to add 3%? You can sell however you like of course, I was just curious.
I have never sent a money order, seems like something my grandpa would have done....does it charge the person who sends if you use westernunion.com?

It was no big deal...USPS sell's MO's all day long...Super smooth transaction. Record was packed perfect and transaction was well communicated...

It's very nice of him to make you go to the post office and waste your time, gas & money to save himself the 3% and give you no recourse if something happens...

Why waste other people's time & money if you won't yourself?

He didn't make me do anything...It was my choice...I wanted the wax, I got the MO. I received the wax...If you don't want to buy his records, don't go get a MO...It is that simple...

And here I thought purchasing this stuff was based on free will and solely the decision of the buyer.
