FS/FT: PJ Pono

My buddy listened to mine and loved it, but he would rather sell or trade for vinyl.

He's looking for the following potential trades:

$300 + Lost Dogs
$350 + LO2L, Binaural or Riot Act
$400 + No Code or Yield

Would prefer sealed vinyl but would go for mint opened. I know auctions are not allowed, but feel free to make a comparable offer.

I might be interested in a $400+vinyl trade... I'd have to check my current collection.

    Probably a toss up then.
make sure you have a good cartridge on there,
    make sure it's properly aligned.....
    good, clean 180 gram vinyl.
    I personally love tube sound.
some people will tell you that it is too warm.

I think it's tough to beat, I have a rega p5 table and I can't remember what cartridge but it sounds great!!!! It's the best sound I've came across with all the different receivers I've tried! I just went thru and cleaned all the pots on it last night and I think it made a huge difference.....had a lil crackle when switching from stereo to aux and phono inputs, that got fixed and I think it made her sound a lil better too!

    Sounds like a nice setup
I am using the PONO primarily for PJ boots right now.
Yeah talk about the niche of a niche market.
once I get a good mini to 1/4 stereo cable for it-
I can give you a better comparision.
gonna throw some 96kz/24 vs the vinyl version in a A/B comparison.
    should be interesting.

I def prefer analog, but I have to tell you-
I have been extremely impressed with the PONO.
only listened to it thru headphones but it does a fantastic job reproducing digital music.

What about a larger vinyl trade, no cash. Or does cash have to be part of the deal? We can PM details if that might be of interest to your friend....
It's amazing what you hear when you take time to listen.
