US Sailors harassed in Turkey.

Did anyone see this nonsense ? Three sailors had shit thrown at them,they were pushed,called murderers and bags put over their heads.Then the idiot thug leader gives a little speech for the camera.The sailors did not retaliate and escalate the situation,so that was good.I think this is a staged event.

Sad to see things like this...my brosef was deployed in Kuwait and his unit had a "game" where they threw cans of water at the local men... They aim for head shots. The justification is that the local men throw feces, but he admitted he had only heard about such things and never saw any evidence. Makes you sick to your stomach to think about how dehumanizing war is. Even in a noncombat zone, the "ragheads" are the enemy.

These guys were in civilian close and minding own buisness on leave for the weekend.This "group" planned the interaction from what I can see.Im glad the sailors showed excellent restraint.This kinda thing can cause more international nonsense.

Yeah it's a cycle that is hard to shut down. Chicken or the egg, doesn't matter, it fosters hatred and ill will in peoples hearts. There will be a retaliation for this and the cycle will continue. The news won't care and so nobody will know or care, just like the innocent Kuwaiti men walking down the street who suffer serious facial and head injuries when our boys get rowdy.
