  • That is probably a good deal but unfortunately, few people can afford to shell out that much dough in one shot, Also, he/she didn't post the shipping price and shipping from AU is pretty darn expensive (not quite as much as Canada but more than most other countries).

That would def. be a cool xmas present for someone though @-)

Yeah I noticed that too. Presumably if you fork over $3000 for the records and $1000 for the shipping, you can afford to buy your benny elsewhere.

  • Wow. Shipping costs aside, somebody just got a great deal on a great collection.
  • Someone got it for under $2,200! Let the flipping begin! [-X or \:D/

How fun would it really be though, to just receive PJ's ENTIRE (nearly) collection in one load!? You'd miss the entire process of "collecting" that many of us enjoy. Man, I'd have to isolate myself away from friends, family & work, in some cabin way out in the bush, for several months (at least), with a big ass generator to power my big ass stereo. I'd have them all wrapped up so I didn't know which package was which album and then open only one per day. Like Christmas morning EVERY day!

Even cooler: What if it was a 10c'er that won it, who decided he/she would donate the whole kit n' caboodle to one of our unfortunate members, whose poor health is deteriorating, they couldn't collect on their own and all he/she wanted was PJ vinyl to spin. Now THAT would be would be cool. Well, I can dream can't I.... :)>-

  • I actually did the math with UPS and assuming it weighs about 100 lbs, it would cost $1000 to ship to me in Maryland. Still a great deal, but I don't have that kind of scratch right now.

It wouldn't be anywhere near 100 pounds though. More like 30.

my guess 29lbs, closest without going over right bob?

you might be surprised how quickly the weight adds up, its gotta be at least 50lbs, i have scales at work but I'm not brining them home and I'm not taking my vinyl to work either. And shipping from Australia is worse than Canada, cost wise i get my !0C merch quicker since i moved to Perth than when i was in Vancouver

  • Well even if it were 50 lbs and $500, I still don't have that kind of scratch. Great deal for someone though!

its very enjoyable, I did it a few years ago, and is a whole lot cheaper than buying them 1 at a time

He quoted me $400 to ship to Toronto
    Canada ... Was so tempted
Any new realizations... would have to wait...
Til he had more time,... more time...
Time to dream,... to himself... he waves goodbye,
To himself... I'll see you on the other side...
