It is worth what people are willing to pay, and sadly, people seem to be willing to pay a lot. I have seen sealed ones go for around 1,5 to 2k and even more. This baby should be more accessible to less wealthy people too, but this is a whole different discussion. Sigh.

Fortunately I have a sealed one but it needs a home and it needs to be spun and due to some back luck and financial troubles I am thinking about parting ways with it.

pic to look at would be nice.....
  • Spun is more like $700-$800 in this forum, just judging by what I've seen and sold in the last year or so. And sealed I've seen for under a grand here, so long as it's not like #1-100 or a signed copy, etc.. Lots of factors to consider.....

Sorry to hear you are considering parting with your copy. I know what it's like to need some funds that badly though. I do hope your luck turns around & your situation improves, whether it comes to selling your Benny or not. There are some very worthy folk on his board however, if you decide it needs a new/good home.

To a lot of collectors the condition of the box is what will determine what it is worth.

I had a similar situation a few years back and had to part with my sealed one as well. I let it go for $500. I suppose I was too nice. No way A sealed one would go for that cheap nowadays.

It would if someone decided to sell it for that just to be nice. ;)
I've heard of many generous acts around here - someone offering a Benny for cheap on Lost Dogs again, like you did, wouldn't be THAT shocking to me.

Offers are not liked around here. Vinyl is meant to played. I hope yours will find a good home one day.

And I think the highest price tags for a Benny that I have seen was on discogs. And it is misleading because these Bennys are still there because nobody wants them for that price. So yeah 2k ... good luck with that.

It is time for a fucking reissue, this circus has to stop.

Now you're talking, been saying that for ages. Reissue and that's it, end of it all.
