Scott's running car that was parked right next door to the Showbox, like right next to the first 12 folks in line helped us a lot. He was our hero!!derbydave said:
Those donuts were sooo good that Tim & 10club crew were giving out. If they do this again & I'm able to make it, here's requesting if they are able to serve the fans with some candy cane hot chocolate. Oh baby!!!!Post edited by demetrios on0 -

Yeah, I got there at 7a. Started out like 20 something on line, but after friends of Demetrios came by, I dropped to lower 30's. Friggin cold that day. Met some cool people. Thanks again to the girl who gave out free coffee. Raffle was fun. I won one of the Riot Act variants and a Vault 3 vinyl.

I think you have me confused with someone else! I didn't go last year, I was in bed with bronchitis/pneumonia-which I picked up in Portland.

It's cool. If I remembered correctly there were only 12 up front. There was a group behind us who were underneath the tree sitting in chairs. Which next time, I'm totally bringing a chair. My tiling knees were taking a beating standing that long in the cold. Hopefully you were right behind them cause nobody butted in front of us. I was the only dude up front not wearing a hat or tuque.PP193448 said:Yeah, I got there at 7a. Started out like 20 something on line, but after friends of Demetrios came by, I dropped to lower 30's. The girl who was serving coffee, was she the one serving the coffee right out of a cardboard box? I had never seen that before.
Congrats on the Riot Act variant print. I hope to someday own one of these.0 -
Sorry Lisa...RKCNDY said:derbydave said:I think you have me confused with someone else! I didn't go last year, I was in bed with bronchitis/pneumonia-which I picked up in Portland.
You're right, I was confused!!
I did have a BLAST hanging out with you at McMenamin's before the Seattle show though!!!

I was immediately behind the guy who was sitting in a chair with a sleeping bag or large blanket over top of him. Actually talked to him at the raffle too, nice guy. Yeah, I stood the whole time too. Being from WV living in OH, not too cold for me. My wife chilled out in the hotel, whilst I froze. Had some beers at some brewery restaurant across the street afterwards. Good times. Gotta meet some of you guys at a show in the future. Always nice to see you on the boards. Peace.demetrios said:

Moose Drool beercan hat! aaahhhh! I was in such a rush to finish it for the Missoula show, I wasn't happy with how it turned out, and I left it at the hotel.derbydave said:

Do they still brew Rainier Beer down by the stadium / ball park??
I'd be good with a Rainier one too!

they don't brew Rainier at the original location anymore, the company was sold and is now brewed by Pabst (or Miller, through contract). Though last year, they replaced the T (Tully's used the building to brew coffee, but then went bankrupt) so now the big red R is back on the building.derbydave said:

There is a glass blowing facility there so if you wanna blow your own beer glass I suppose you could do that!
I'll track Marcus down to say 'hi' for ya!The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.
