Nirvana Lyrics question?!?

The song Even in his youth.

I think the chorus says:

"People spawn before your through/I've got nothing left to prove
If I die before I wake/ Hope I don't come back a slave"

I've looked them up on lyres sites and it's all over the place… He was born for your crew? He was born for your brood? I just don't don't think that that's right.

Anybody?

Thanks

Just gave a listen to the version on "Chosen Rejects" and I don't hear the "crew" and "brood" stuff... And actually the lyrics kinda change it seems from verse to verse. Which, let's be honest, is totally sensible given music is all about creativity and Nirvana was pretty damn dynamic on stage.
