Just a heads up, someone's selling a sealed sevens for $225 here. Mite want to concider that.
This, and this site is not eBay...
You had the chance to get something for 50+, something someone else, for whatever reason, couldn't get, and you're asking about 6 times more than what you paid for it... Don't rip off a fellow tenclubber, sell it high but not that high...
... I am not in the business of being liked anymore ...
Actually about the last ten to sell on eBay have sold from 200 to 225. You can do a search if you don't believe it. So an eBay seller is coming out with 170 to 195 after fees. Just FYI.

I am not trying to rip anyone off...It's called supply and demand....

There was a supply for $50 and the demand was there. $225 not so much - what a rip off

That is your own opinion...Depends on how band a fan wants the vinyl.

wind your neck in. Market value is market value. 10c sold Benaroya halls for $40 when they first went on sale. Now they sell them for tons at the pop up shops. If you don't like it suggest to the buyer lowering the price or just don't comment and go troll someone else.
I missed out on sevens and had to trade a couple of what I considered expensive records for it as the value then was about $350.

So market value for sevens quadrupled in less than a year?
Dude. It quadrupled as soon as it sold out in the shop. What rock have you been under??? )
I know that. Just saying that- what a rip off! Fucking Flippers is all
I am not a flipper...I have had my vinyl collection for a long time....I am just not into the band anymore....I also need to the money to pay bills...
If your going to sale some thing....Your going to try to get all you can out of it.....At least fair going market value....
jeremy
I'm not saying that you are a flipper. I just pointed out that you are selling an item four times the price you paid for it.
That can be said for many many many many things on the Lost Dogs forum. The vast majority of Riot Acts, Binaurals, Yields, No Codes, Self Titleds, Bennys, PJ20 Blue Rays, Backpacks, etc, etc, etc were sold at a significantly higher price than the seller paid. One disturbing thing I am starting to notice is that when it is someone from a clique selling something, we see posts like "great guy" and "great price" (even when it is 4x original retail), but when it is someone else there are posts about said pricing differential. Not saying that is the case here but things selling way above market is definitely the norm as I have never seen a single rarer vinyl go for retail in this forum.

for the record, i'm on nobody's side. i understand what "market value" means. and since we're on that subject... the LD forum for 10c members should not be representative of the actual market. just my opinion. i thought we were here to help each other, not gouge each other at eBay or EB averages. it is what it is, and i appreciate all sides. just doesn't make sense to me. whilst no one here is biting on this sale... maybe list it on eBay as a BIN, listing this asking price. or list it as an auction, with the reserve as this price. a greater exposure to the "market" is likely to happen on ebay, rather than looking only to this group of fans. flame on.
Isn't there someone selling a sealed sevens on the lost dogs forum for $225? I could've sworn. Sorry bro, I doubt anyone's gonna shell out $50 more $$$ for the same record. Just saying
