A respectful silence settled over the crowd at Microsoft's Washington campus as Pearl Jam singer Eddie Vedder swapped out a beat-up Fender Stratocaster for a Martin acoustic guitar and steadied himself for the next song. Suddenly, a woman yelled, "I love you!" and a number of other voices echoed the sentiment. "Normally I can ignore that kind of shit," the singer deadpanned into the microphone. "It's harder to do in a room with only 90 people."

I am really glad EV has his solo gigs because where else could we hear (or hear of him) doing any of these songs live!!! Important songs!! That need to be sung! I saw his solo show in Portland, Ore in 2011 and sang every word with him....
