Hmm, i think it might be best to assume they're playing and then be pleasantly relieved that they're not... did that make sense  :o:lol:

Oh stay safe - sorry to hear so many earthquakes are hitting you guys. I'm sure the guys wouldn't dare skip NZ, for heaven's sake, your furry friend made the mag, obviously he will have quiet words with the guys if things go awry ;)

every year we have this bdo rumour. every year. if it turns out to be true i would be so disappointed. i wouldn't be all "oh yay pj are coming!" i'd be all "fucking bdo sucks nuts. worst. clusterfuck. ever."

    and then sulk.
When was the last time you went to the resurrected BDO at Western Springs?
  • I'd actually be happy to see PJ at BDO, of course if I could choose i'd pick a proper show but I reckon BDO will be awesome at Western Springs in Auckland, its a beautiful place to go to a concert. I'll just be happy if they come here. The thing is, if they do the BDO tour they'll have to come here, if they do a normal tour they could easily miss out NZ like they have most times...
Pearl Jam Pearl Jam Pearl Jam!

I'm looking to buy a single ticket to Ed's Sydney Opera House show, PM me if you've got a spare! I don't care where the seat is! :D

6 days and some of us might be happy/relieved and some of us might be doing this :nono: .

Come on. They couldn't keep bdo running in nz. It declined every year. Didn't they give up and give tickets away last time?

I don't know about the tickets thing, but they didn't play in NZ this year, right? Why not?

Yeah, not enough people I think. I went last year(got a free ticket, went for Soundgarden) & the place was empty! Felt like about 1/4, maybe 1/3 capacity at the most.

I think Western Springs will revitalise it for sure. It's easier to get to for a start which will help. Turn out depends heaps on the line-up of course so we'll see next week. :)

If it is yes for PJ at BDO, will you come this side of the ditch for a few shows?

The Adelaide BDO is moving away from the usual show ground location, into parklands app due to the fact of an extra headline act. Possibly the only adv of BDO is last yr my cousin walked up to the front row 10mins beforehand for the killers...

Really not sure. For the BDO maybe not. Cost of tickets'd be more than flights I expect! :o + festivals are pretty full on so dunno I'd have the stamina for multiple festival days. :lol:8-)

Maybe 10C can get a discount for multiple shows or something?! We can hope, or even ask!
I won't be doing full festival days, I would go later in the day, after the summer sun has disappeared and hope for the best in terms of spot infront of the stage.

How? Don't they lock down the front section pretty early?

They used to do the lock of the D and then the evac of the D after certain acts, but I can't remember when that stopped.
