Hey everyone,
I've been in the fan club since 94 and had the once in a lifetime opportunity to photograph Pearl Jam the 1st weekend of Austin City Limits Music Festival. I love the Pearl Jam fan community and wanted to give back by sharing my photos with everyone. All photographers got to photograph the band the first 3 songs but I was the only one with a backstage pass so I was able to go back to the soundboard by Keely for the rest of the show and got some great shots like when Ed threw his guitar 15 feet up in the air. For anyone who's interested I was shooting with a Canon 1DX and 70-200mm f2.8 lens.

Enjoy!

    Awesome pictures Dave!
I loved so many of them but the flaming guitar Mike shot is so cool! Saved as my desktop now. ;)

I also like seeing EV get some air there in the early shots. I was at Cincy and he was really looking like his knee was killing him. Good to see he was feeling better in Austin.
The love he receives is the love that is saved

Thanks, glad you liked them and that the flaming guitar made it to your desktop. :)

WOW, amazing pictures! And what a dream it must have been for you!! I was at ACL 1, it kicked ass.

I love how Danny Clinch is in like half your pics. Maybe you're in some of his! Thanks for sharing.

Suziemay, thanks for the kind words. It was a dream come true. I got to meet Danny backstage and he was super cool and down to earth. I unfortunately wasn't allowed to take pictures from the stage. Funny how Danny always likes to hang out behind the drums.

The picture of Mike with a telecaster in the spotlight looks 3-D
    Good job

Your link isn't working. I poked around and found them, but you need to update the initial address.
These are nice. The smashed porch ball is killer.
As more of a purist, and a working pro too, the shopped ones at the end don't do much for me but I'm sure a lot of people will like them.
I like the Outkast photos, too. You may need to get a 1.4 teleconverter.

Thanks for the heads up. I did move them and have updated the gallery address at the beginning of the thread.

After the first 3 songs I was back at the Front of House next to Kille. When Ed came up the center you can see how I leaned over to get a couple shots from a frame grab of the video that was being projected on the screens:
