I really like this poster. If I had gone to the show I would definitely get it. I understand his art work has been a little repetitive but I like the color-scheme on this one.

I do not think the date is random since today is bootleg release date.

Looking back on the tour, I find this to be one of the better posters. I picked one up for the collection. Rather enjoy the colors and typeface.

Got one! They released the poster today because the bootleg for the show came out today!
  • Sure is the day of the release... but normally they launch later in the hour. Today was about 3 hours earlier...

Maybe because ACL 1 was a later show date? I'm sort of confused about why ACL 1 was the first boot released instead of Cincy. I'm betting the ACL posters will both be in the shop when ACL 2 boot is released...

Heres to hoping Moline goes up sale and the flippers getting $200.00 for the poster are stuck with them.

That Moline poster is not gonna come down in price. Sure, you may find one from time to time that you catch at the right moment and get for $197 or $212 or something instead of $250+, but I think that will be the rarity. There are only so many posters for each show. It used to be in the 600 range. I was told that number was 672 for Moline, not counting the 100 APs Ian Williams put on sale through Invisible Industries. Some always get held back for PJ.com, but it's not as if there are hundreds and hundreds. They don't just start printing more of them for the official store. The Moline posters will sell out quickly at the site, and the bulk of them will go to people like me who were at the show, waited three hours in the merch line, and STILL got shut out ... and are not gonna give them up. And a few others will go to people who know $35 can turn into $250 quickly. Sucks, but it's the way of the market. But it's not as if because they go on sale at the site, there still won't be hundreds, if not thousands of people looking to own one. 772 posters, including the AP run, and 11,000 people at that show. Even if only 25 percent of them want a poster, that's 2,750. The math seems to indicate the bar has been set for the price of the Moline poster, and it only goes up from here. Same thing happened with the Wrigley Shuss Cracker Jack and Pittsburgh Munk One '13.
