    He doesn't sound like a huge fan (alt nation was pushing the PJ theme and he wasn't really biting... i bet alt nation wanted him to start listing songs other than the most obvious radio hits). Which is fine. He's a casual PJ fan. Great.

    Pearl Jam is not Eddie's band, Eddie is the leader of the band.
    It's a small but important distinction.

    I'd call him a member though.

    I think he is the leader of the band and a member of the band. They aren't mutually exclusive.
