Looking for a moline poster. Any idea besides eBay let me know. They sold out so fast at the show and they were letting people buy 10 at a time inside.

I'm looking too, lost out at the venue and at the artist sale. But hopefully, we will finally get lucky when the posters drop on here. Just keep your eyes peeled for the dates of the bootleg drop. Usually, the posters will be sold on the same day or close to that. Hearing that people walked away with ten posters while others got shit makes me a little angry. But it seems to be this way now. There is no way in hell I will pay ebay prices. Be patient and hopefully, one will make it's way to you too.

I remember that being the case in line at Moline also for the poster. It is the best looking poster from the 2014 US tour.

Jesus, I just glanced at the ebay prices for this poster. Has this completely spiked in price due to playing No Code? Its a cool poster, but $250+?? Not worth it IMO.

It sucks when you cannot get the poster from the shows you went to because other people are greedy as feck. I have never had problems to get a poster from a show I went to before Wrigley. Since then, this whole merch situation is fucked up.

I'd wait for the PJ site to have the 2014 US posters for sale, and then get one before they all sell out like 2013 Portland and 2014 Oslo.

I hear you. Hopefully those they went to the show and missed out can grab one in the 10club sale

I hate it when the fans don't get a chance to get the merch they want from the shows. It is a start when 10C put limits on merch, it would be a smart idea to prepurchase the merchandise to the shows that one would attend or sell a pin/sticker combo for each tour stop on the web site after the tour ends.

the fans are the ones buying the posters to then flog them off to pay for their travels. If people continue continue to pay way over the purchase price the issue will continue.

i missed out at the merch trailer but was able to score one inside. not sure who was allowing anyone to buy 10 at a time. i asked for two and was only allowed to buy one.

Yeah, I just looked on Ebay and the poster is going for way too much in my opinion. I don't understand it. Are people just freaking out? People are paying more for this random poster than a 2006 DC Reaper. Add another $100-$150 and you could get some 1998 posters.

I really am curious who is buying these posters for $200+. If they are patient they could buy it for $80 - $100 in a few years on Ebay, or get it from the 10C next month. I'll spend my $42.50 on the website and have it sent to my door.

It is like there is a poster resurgence now without necessarily any regard to quality.

Wait till 10club sells them @ the 10club store. You would be a complete moron if you know 10club hasn't yet sold them but you go ahead & pay $200 plus dollars for these regular edition prints that are selling on eBay.
  • FadedGloryFadedGlory Chicagoland Posts: 416
The problem is, I don't think the 10 Club is going to have that many ... and then you risk having the same thing happen as when the APs went on sale: They were gone in seconds. I worked a trade for mine rather than paying the big bucks at eBay because I got hosed in the merch line outside that day, and then couldn't get one inside because I had GA tickets.

But I think the reason they're going for so much and staying so high is that the vast majority of people think (A) it's a great piece of art (B) it's somewhat of a rarity in that it's a poster for a show that is basically perfectly tailored to that city, like Pittsburgh was last year and (C) it was an historic show with the "No Code" front-to-back play. What I fear for people who wait on getting it is, if you miss out, the prices are probably NOT going to drop, because pretty soon, all the people who are desperate to have one are going to have one, and scant few are going to want to part with them.

That's what has happened with the Pittsburgh poster from last year. That's what has happened with the Wrigley Shuss cracker jack poster. And I really see that happening with this one. Sure, you may find one in a year for cheap. There are always needle-in-a-haystack success stories like that. But I sure wouldn't want to chance it if this is something you really want to own and cherish.

I want it badly. My question is will they sell on here for sure. There is no way in hell I'm paying ebay prices. Growing up in this area is why I want it. Hell we are surrounded by john deer. The poster is awesome the show was great. I just want to puke in my mouth when I see the prices people are charging. I'm not paying it. I have the St Louis poster but there is just something special about the Moline one. Oh well I hope they release them on here and I can get one.

People aren't all 'charging' those crazy prices. Idiots bid them up to that level. I blame the bidders more than the sellers.

Just look at the bootleg release schedule and be on this site that day - checking regularly for the poster. You shouldn't have a problem obtaining one.

I agree. If people don't lose their shit over a poster, they wouldn't get that highly priced. I searched Moline a couple days ago too and couldn't believe it. Prices almost always come down after the initial shit-losing panic right after a show. A few exceptions... but even then, there are posters out there and people doing trades etc... I got a Cracker Jack a year ago by trading another Wrigley poster, the pennant, and some cash. Glad I did.
