True Love and long relationships

True love is like a long-term project
you pour yourself into an idea that you love
gather materials to make something
polish parts
dream about shape and color
sand it, clean it,
pet it, love it,
walk around and talk
sleep on it many times
draw sketches!
paint mock-ups
prepare final drafts
play outside together
walk some more, talk some more
sleep some more!!
wrestle
dream about size and angles
plan the remodel of a soul
ask for advice from your team mate
make more plans
go out and play!
take a trip or two
gather more material for the project
put the parts in a pile and admire them!
re-arrange ‘em
get ideas and write ‘em down
get ideas and build a prototype!
examine the prototype from all angles
decide that side could be molded a bit different
start another version
take a walk with your team
hold hands
talk some more
get some more ideas
go back to the drawing board

true love = long term project
any successful and rewarding long term project
is based upon love of the people involved,
love of the process, love of the upward spiral

I know about long relationships
so many people don’t understand them
but I do
it’s like obsession with growth
when we fall down, we get up again
and try something different
that’s why the people on the team are so
important!
everyone has to be coming from that same
growth mentality
ditching the project isn’t an option when
everyone is obsessed with creating
the best version of the subject
