Framing a poster

I have never gotten a poster framed before but am getting the Moline poster framed.
Any tips or hints? Wood vs metal?

They have a wide selection of metal and wooden frames and you can select everything in a step-by-step process (even upload a picture of the poster to see what the frame and mats look like). Usually pretty cheap too, most average sizes frames cost between $50-$75 shipped (metal, as I have never done a wooden frame from there before)
