Leeds is my choice for top set of 2014bootlegger10 said:No. Great setlist, but this is Pearl Jam we are talking about here and there are plenty of other great shows out there with amazing setlists. Personally I would take Leeds over any setlist from this tour, and would probably put a few more shows ahead of Denver's from this year too.

Not with an Encore 1 like that...3 straight sub par covers IMO.."Going where the water tastes like wine!"0

Great? Yes. Epic? Absolutely.
Best ever? No.___________________________________________

NoIt was a great show (and I was the closest I ever was) but I didn't think there was anything special about the setlist besides the length. Of The Earth was a cool surprise though2000: Camden 1, 2003: Philly, State College, Camden 1, MSG 2, Hershey, 2004: Reading, 2005: Philly, 2006: Camden 1, 2, East Rutherford 1, 2007: Lollapalooza, 2008: Camden 1, Washington D.C., MSG 1, 2, 2009: Philly 1, 2, 3, 4, 2010: Bristol, MSG 2, 2011: PJ20 1, 2, 2012: Made In America, 2013: Brooklyn 2, Philly 2, 2014: Denver, 2015: Global Citizen Festival, 2016: Philly 2, Fenway 1, 2018: Fenway 1, 2, 2021: Sea. Looks like an awesome show... wish I'd gotten to go. However, compare the fan reactions found in dimi's Moline and Milwaukee setlist threads to the reactions in the Denver setlist thread.0
-
NoI hardly have this reaction to any post, but Hank, ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?

I loved it, but I was at all 4 Spectrum shows. Those were epic. As for 2014, I would say Denver or Moline were the top set lists. No Code songs are rarely played as it is, but front to back? I see a lot of shows, and I feel we get a decent amount off Yield throughout the tour, so I don't personally think it compares to No Code set in Moline. But I wasn't at Milwaukee, so...
Having never done a full album front to back was crazy, but if they start doing that more often, I think it will kill the excitement of knowing what's coming. So I liked the variety of Denver. And for those who claim it was like any other show, I don't agree. Of the Earth? Leatherman? Don't Gimme No Lip? Ghost? Those aren't ones you get to hear often anymore. Even Moline and Milwaukee still got the basic encore enders and "hit" songs. They still have to reach to the non-diehards who come for the songs they hear on the radio.
So for 2014, I say Moline or Denver got the better songs. Memphis and Milwaukee close behind.0 -

YesDenver was epic but lets not say one is the best. They are all good but Denver was just a fun awesome show.0

Nofor me songs 23-27 were a downer. future days into sleight of hand must have killed any energy that was built up.I'll ride the wave where it takes me......0

I had the same thought, although I love Sleight of Hand. Milwaukee had a similar weak first encore save I Won't Back Down.mcgruff10 said:for me songs 23-27 were a downer. future days into sleight of hand must have killed any energy that was built up.
They build the energy back up though with the last 8 songs being greatest hits. The one downside to going to a lot of shows is the knowledge that (at least on this tour) after the 5th song of the first encore you can pretty much write out the end of the setlist. Most bands don't even make it to a 5th song in an encore so no complaints here.0 -
Yesit wasnt a downer. what are u people talking about? so many strange and odd comments on here. The set list was great. Fuck, even last kiss sounded good last night.0

NoI checked it this morning expecting to be super jealous, but I wasn't at all. Any PJ show is a good one, but I was more jealous of Detroit's set.2013: Wrigley Field, Pittsburgh, Brooklyn 1, Brooklyn 2, Philly 1, Philly 2, Baltimore
2014: Cincinnati
2015: Global Citizen Festival
2016: Philly 1, Philly 2, MSG 1, MSG 2, Fenway 1, Fenway 2, Wrigley 1, Wrigley 2
2017: Rock N Roll Hall of Fame Induction
2018: Krakow, Chicago 1, Chicago 2, Boston 1, Boston 20 -
it was though. and agree with the comment that the same pretty much happened in milwaukee. don't know when the first encore has pretty much become an ed solo show.THEBIBLEISTEN said:it wasnt a downer. what are u people talking about? so many strange and odd comments on here.
