A big thumbs up for the Wishlist foundation pre-parties

I had the good fortune to be helping out at the Wishlist pre-party in Milwaukee on Monday and man, that was a blast. I decided to volunteer to help because (1) I was traveling on my own and don't know anyone in Milwaukee, and (2) I don't like beer, and what else is there to do in Milwaukee (and, of course, it was for a good cause). Patrick, the organizer, and everyone else involved were completely welcoming and the whole thing was relaxed enough that I had plenty of time to sit, have a drink, and make some new friends. It only got frenzied while we were doing the draws and trying to match up eager fans with their winnings, but that was pretty fun, seeing people stoked about their prizes.

So if you ever have a chance in the future to help out at a Wishlist party, I'd strongly recommend it.

Wow! On behalf of everyone, thanks for the great endorsement! @patrickredeyes‌ has been hosting preparties since 2006 and always does a great job. I'm glad you had a fun time volunteering and hope you volunteer again in the future
