Verizon IPhone Trade In for IPhone 6

Has anyone had any problems with this? When I upgraded to the IPhone 6 they said I would get $200 in credit to trade in my IPhone 4S. However, I have had problems with the shipping material and haven't sent it out yet. Now I am reading online that people are getting scammed by this offer and getting far less in credit.

I am considering just keeping my old phone as an IPhone for the car/gym.

Anyone tried this offer????

    Sent my 4S in last week. Received the shipping materials later than expected because the response Verizon had gotten was more than anticipated. Well, that's what the pre-recorded message said when I called about the delay. Anyway, I was also told I'd get $200 for it. If it's less, then that's alright by me. Not going to feel scammed by it. When I went to get the iPhone 6, I had no idea about the trade in offer so anything I get for my old one is bonus.

    Got an email from Verizon yesterday with an e-gift card for the full $200 rebate. Woohoo! \:D/
    So there is hope.
