Denver Decided-Will I make a 12:55AM flight back to PHL?

google maps says 26 minutes from pepsi to den0

I'm not from the area so I don't know the Pepsi Center but I've been to shows where it took more than an hour to get out of the parking lot! Add to that security at the airport. That time frame might be a bit ambitious.grace and peace0

From the Pepsi to DIA give yourself 45 min. Given the issues on finding a cab after a Pepsi show, you would be lucky to make it to your flight.....
However, 26 min would be about right with no traffic and no issues.Post edited by Othneil on0 -
im not a delta flyer, if i book the 6am can i fly stand by on the 12:55(if i make it)? i cant find it on the website...some airlines allow you to hop a same day earlier flight without fees.0

although it will suck, you have most likely heard the last 3 or 4 songs 100 times, so uber a car and leave halfway through the last encore. even if you wait til lights up for the last two songs, youll exit the arena in no time and get to your cab.. if you wait for them to take their bows, you probably wont make it..

It depends on how you're getting to the airport. If you're renting a car, I'd recommend parking offsite; there are some lots across the street from Pepsi on Speer that will be easier to get out of, and then it is fairly simple/fast. But then you have to factor in car rental return.0

But YL is the final song on disc 1 of Lost Dogs. Surely you'd want to stick around for disc 2? LOLJC29856 said:

I know Delta charges $50 for same-day changes... it's not free anymore unless you're a certain level Medallion member. That being said, there's no way in hell I'd try to make that flight.JC29856 said:im not a delta flyer, if i book the 6am can i fly stand by on the 12:55(if i make it)? i cant find it on the website...some airlines allow you to hop a same day earlier flight without fees.

If you can swing it, book the 6 am flight and then try to same day change to the 12:55 flight if you make it, and pay the $50 change fee. And don't check any bags!0

Only problem with that is it could be very difficult to even get on that standby list for the 12:55 if he's not at the airport by midnight at the latest. They'll start boarding at 12:15am or so and you know you're gonna spend at least 10 minutes at the counter trying to do it. Not even through security at that point (which shouldn't be a huge issue at that time of night). If it was me, I'd just book the 6am flight, hang out after the show and get some food and beers, and then just get a cab to the airport when the bars close and get a nap at the gate.0

Agreed. Either the OP leaves early and misses part of the show or leaves after the show and accepts the risk of completely missing the flight and having to pay again to rebook on the 06:00, and who knows, it could be full by then. Why would you go through that?Motown322 said:Only problem with that is it could be very difficult to even get on that standby list for the 12:55 if he's not at the airport by midnight at the latest. my small self... like a book amongst the many on a shelf0 -
DIA is huge and unpredictable. At that hour, everything will be at half-speed - security as well as the trains. You'd be better off switching to the 6 am flight.0

No, you can't reseve an Uber.. install the app, setup your profile/credit card, etc now, so when you're ready to leave, hit the app, let it find you, then hit reserve car and walk out of the arena. As soon as I hit reserve car and it assigns one to me, you'll have a button that says his name and "contact driver." Text him and say "Pepsi Center, gate " and he'll pull up right there for you. I would assume there'll be lots of Uber cars in the area around the time the show is ending so getting one shouldn't be an issue...JC29856 said:mpar17 said:Try using Uber.
Also the good thing about Uber is that when you get to your destination, just jump out of the car and go.. don't have to say anything to the driver (other than thanks, have a nice night, etc...) Payment is all done through the Uber app and there's no tipping, so he'll hit "end ride" when you get there and it'll pop up on your Uber app within 10 minutes, hopefully while you're waiting to board your flight.
Hope this helps.

I ve done that before. If it s a flight you're talking about maybe leave two songs in during the second encore.JC29856 said:

I used miles today and booked the 12:55 am flight to ATL I believe, then I connect back to CMH. My friends live there, so we are going to try to park somewhere easy to get out of and book it after the show to get back to the airport in time. With not bag to drop I'm confident I'll make it, if not I'll hop the 6 a.m., plenty of open seats on that one if it comes to that.95' - 7/9
