has Pearl Jam ever played an opening set with no songs off Ten?

Good question, not sure how we dig this one up.

Was lucky enough to go to Detroit last night and had a blast. After seeing this setlist,I'm just disappointed. This would have been my ultimate dream show. Maybe they'll do this for Yield Sunday in Minneapolis. I can't even comprehend this show. Congrats to all that are there!

Don't be disappointed man, Detroit was awesome! Tonight is awesome too, but doesn't diminish the show you experienced. Very happy for those at the show tonight though also. Congrats indeed!
Disappointed is the wrong word. Detroit was amazing and I couldn't have had a better time. This is just the most jealous I've ever been of a setlist. Still though, happy there are a lot of lucky fans who are getting to experience it.

last time they played a whole album was Avocado right , somewhere in Italy 2006, I think?

Yes. Avocado in 2006. Ten waaaaaay back in the early years and either Ten or Avocado in reverse order once.

if Ed could of just waited until the second encore to play EF I am sure someone would of dug it up, but it seems impossible that it had ever happened

Very fair. I'm feeling a lot of that too. I always try so hard not to be jealous but I'm losing the battle right now. Why didn't I just start driving after the show last night??

While No Code isn't my favorite album, it makes it exciting that they are really pushing themselves and not getting complacent. Makes the last shows of the tour have a new buzz and energy. Really pretty cool that 18 years after releasing No Code they play it entirely for the fans.

man if you hate no code then this is the worst show ever !!!!

At previous shows, there were a lot of people who were sitting down, standing only for the various radio hits and even leaving during the first or second encore.

Those guys would HATE this show.

  • Dear Pearl Jam,

I'm going to St Paul and Milwaukee, so Denver would be a great place for Backspacer in it's entirety.

    Thanks in advance.
