Joseph Arthur! One of my very faves.

I've got a bunch in dropbox if you're interested in sampling. :)

And yes, the Royal Blood album is great!

Newish uk band called the wytches. IIt's heavy and steeped in 60s psychedelia if that floats your boat. Kinda like black angels meets botch

This is hard when I don't know all the music you already listen to 2fr, or really what your tastes are beyond PJ....
Are you up on all your Fugazi? ;)
Kyuss (and QOTSA for that matter)?
    Nick Cave?
    Phosphorescent?
    Rodriguez?
John Martyn (Solid Air is a great album! Excellent psych-folk)?
Spiritualized (If you're into some good psych-rock)?

Love Rodriguez and Phosphorescent! Not heard of the bottom two though. My favourite so far is the Royal Blood. Heavy stuff! I am not that into Fugazi. I have 'Repeater' but just can't get into that style.

  • Big thanks you guys! The 5k CDs I own were getting a little old to be honest! I am currently riding one of those PJ obsessed waves right now. Probably will die down after tour ends. Been listening to the 13' / 14' LB tour a lot. Can't wait to get my St.Louis bootleg!

Have you checked out Smoke Fairies. Jack White approved English folksie harmonies mixed with Americana. Their second album Blood Speaks is great as is the new one. Also I rrecently discovered Palms, Chino from Deftones plus some of the guys from Isis. It's pretty epic.

Don't know if you've heard about Swedish folk sisters First Aid Kit. Check out the album Lion's Roar esp.
Also Brian Jonestown Massacre, a US band that I believe is really fab.
