seating behind stage this tour - sit close behind stage or way back in nosebleeds?

Friends of mine have seats in Detroit that are 10th row behind stage - I think tickets say obstructed view. Has anyone sat in seats like this before? Is there a chance they will be behind one of those huge LB drops and not be able to see shit? I have extra seats in 204b (2nd tier about mid-way) maybe those would be better? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  • I saw them behind the stage in Dallas, also about 10 rows back. The view will be amazing, and they will likely play one of their encore songs facing the back of the stage (we got elderly woman).

Go with behind the stage, some of the best seats in the house.

I have friends that swear by behind the stage seats now. They won't sell them if they have major blockages. Most Venue's won't sell OV seats either. ... I have behind stage for Milwaukee & Pit for Moline. .. I can't wait to compare!!
  • I had front row corner/behind stage for a show once, it was actually super cool. Good way to see the entire crowd too which is pretty sweet.
