Still pissed I went to ACL 1 instead of 2. The second show was night and day bigger and better in every way possible.

ACL 2 was my last show on this tour - so glad I took in all three days of ACL on weekend 2. PJ was the reason I went, but I saw some great bands over the long weekend (I also saw Charlotte, LA2, and Milan).
I'll echo the praise for this festival - very well run, which makes the entire experience that much better. This was the closest to the band that I've been (about ten people away from Aldo) - was thrilled to be in front of Mike…. love watching him play. (Would have loved to be even closer, of course, but I was happy with my view… I am grateful to go to every show that I can make it to)

I enjoyed the setlist immensely - and the crowd around me had positive, good energy overall. We were squeezed in like sardines, and loved every second of it. I know there were 60-70k people behind me, but once the band started to play…. I went into PJ euphoria and just cherished every note, every minute, every goosebump.

Been listening to this boot nonstop since yesterday… So many fun memories not just of their performance but of the weekend! Having seen the band at ACL and last year at Voodoo, although the sets are shorter than their usual sets, I just love seeing Pearl Jam at festivals! So much fun!

Im thinking the drug comments before Severed Hand were about the girl who OD'ed and died during their week 1 set. Took some bad Molly i believe?

One year ago today. Severed Hand and You Are were incredible. I had a blast at ACL and I'm so jealous of everyone who got to go this year.
