Camcorders?

Does PJ allow you to bring in handheld camcorders into arenas? Or does each arena have there own set of rules? I want to get good footage for the Lincoln Show tonight but dont want to bring it if it will cause problems. Any help will be great

Thanks

My husband was taking photos in Cincinnati and PJ security thought he was taking video. They told him no video. What's funny is that everyone around us with iPhones seemed to be taking video. I'd say no. At least that was official word to us and we weren't even taking video.

    No. See here: http://pearljam.com/tenclub/tickets

And if you hold up your camera for extended periods of time and you are close to the front, it doesn't matter what you are doing, security will ask you to put it away. I think it's a combination of consideration for the people behind you, and I don't think Ed particularly enjoys having his picture taken. I'm always afraid he's going to cuss me out when I have my camera out and he happens to look in my direction LOL

I used my Canon Powershot (a point and shoot) to take the video I got at the St. Louis show (a bunch of it is on youtube now). Security let me bring it in, and nobody said anything when taking video (took video on about 10 songs). Just make sure you are courteous of those around you - and especially behind you. Don't hold your camera in a place that obstructs someone behind you's view.

I agree. My husband took some, but not that many. There were those around us watching the concert through their phone the entire time. Be here now. Not through a camera. I agree.
