So, how early do people line up at the box office day of? Exactly how many GA tickets were given out? Curious how early I need to be there in Memphis to get a close spot!

    I'm curious too but bring a cheap, disposable umbrella whatever time. Supposed to storm all Monday and Tuesday.

    For what it's worth... a post of mine from another thread:

    Hey Friend - the GA pit at the front of the floor will be Ten Club only. There will be seats on the floor behind the GA pit as well. As far as the GA line, it will probably start the day before with people attempting to spend the night to get the spots on the rail. Some venues prohibit folks from camping right by the entrance, but the faithful finds a way! If you want to be close (on the rail, or second/third row), I'd suggest bringing breakfast/blanket/food/lawn chair and lining up as early as possible in the morning ( camping overnight if you're really motivated). Hanging out in a Ten Club GA line for a concert is really an experience in itself. Meeting other PJ fans, swapping stories, and doing what you can to take care of eachother all day is part of the fun. Ten Club will call opens around 3PM. You'll be able to leave the line briefly to pick up tickets/wristbands. When the gate time nears, you'll be able to run your stuff back to your car. Leaving for brief bathroom breaks and to efficiently get some food/drink is usually not a big deal, but the best way to insure this is to make friends with your neighbors and make sure they're cool with it. Leaving for hours and bar hopping will likely result in your losing your place in the line... generally speaking. The bottom line: show up early, get comfy, make friends, be cool, and get ready to rock your ass off up front!

    I've got GA tickets for Moline. I was wondering how early to go. I'm 5' tall so I want to be as close as possible. Besides, I want to be as close as possible! :)

    Close as possible? Go now. There were people waiting 24+ hours in Memphis. Only way to guarantee as close as possible is to camp out. Anything else is "as close as I can get without having to wait X hours in line." You should be able to get within 4-5 people from the rail on Mike's or Stone's side by showing up 2-3 hours before doors.

    The venue said no camping out. Don't know how strictly that's enforced tho

    Hmm. I wouldn't know, but unless there is a guy there in the middle of the night, assuming there isn't a locked fence surrounding the place, not sure how they could stop you? If you live nearby, your best bet may be to swing by and see if there are people. Unless you want to be first in line, just wait until you see others up there then go. Shouldn't be too far back doing that. Or, just go at sunrise.

    So I did GA at Memphis. I contemplated being super early. There were people camping day before show at 2 pm. I got in the line day of show at 3:00. I was about 150 people back. I ended up in front of Stone with just 3 people in front of me. I had great views. Could I have been closer? Sure! But I totally rocked out and loved it.

    I used the extra time in the morning to sight see and was able to hit the merch line at 12:00 and get what I needed.

    If u really want rail, go for it and try camping or whatever u can and be super early. I spent 4 hours in line and had a blast. But I was good with that.

    If u go the camping route just check the weather and have spot nearby to take your things back to right before the show. Good luck and have fun! Tell the band thanks for Memphis! It was ridiculous! Moline will be just as g
