    Picture?

Such a tease and no photo. I agree! We demand a photo-- please? Inquiring minds and all . . .

I'm in Tulsa for the show so can post a pic when I get home. However my excitement may be short lived, based on the original pics posted, it looked like the standard print didn't have all the background paisley detail and was just plain red and blue. That's what I saw on my print when I was transferring it out of the tube yesterday. Now other pics look like that is the same detail on all the posters. I didn't notice the border one way or the other. Sorry to disappoint.

Ya I saw the variant on ebay. The listing shows that its shipping from Canada but I didn't think either version, AP or Variant, were being shipped by the artist to Canada?

So i got my posters today and they look amazing but have a couple of issues.
The AP was numbered 12/100 but not signed and the variant was signed but was numbered 50/100 and i thought there were only 15 of them. I contacted the artists and am waiting to hear something. any other thoughts? it basically looks like i numbered a show edition myself...

heard back from the artist and he is paying for me to ship it back to him to sign...also found out that 15 off the 100 prints were hand embellished for the variant hence the 50/100

He just #'d them all like they were one big run. The Ap's and variants were just included instead of doing separate #'s. Doesn't make sense but it's his work and he can do as he pleases even if it's beyond odd I guess.

He did use the most heavy duty poster tube I've ever seen, so props to him for shipping.

The border matching the rope lettering is nice.

    think it will sell out?

tough to say.....some go really fast (most recently Oslo, Trieste, Milton Keynes Klausen).....others sit for a long time (see all prints in Shop). my guess / opinion is everything except Moline and Lincoln will sit for awhile.

    to be continued...

It's not funny. 10club offers 1 poster per 10club member online. Where as @ the show, those working behind the merchandise tables can't turn down a customer that wants to purchase 50 plus posters or someone waving lots of cash across their face. They won't. There's no rules at the merchandise tables. Well, maybe at different merchandise booths I've heard they put rules down, 2 posters per customer. But you can also go back & purchase more.

agreed. i think it's more of a "caught in the moment" situation or a hedge against being available to purchase online if a print (e.g. Moline) ends up being in high demand.

back on topic.... i really like the border on the variant. it really makes the whole print pop! enjoy!

Is there any rhyme or reason to the time of day when they post these in the shop?

Nope. It various. It was usually @ 1pm EST from previous tours. Bootleg & poster would go up at 1pm together. Lately the poster will go up earlier then the bootleg. Today was a little earlier. 11am EST. Another hour till the bootleg is available.

The Tulsa poster isn't up yet. It's bootleg is available today.
