    Saw the picture of it autographed afterwards. Probably definitely worth more smashed and signed.

    And actually I don't think he smashed a guitar at the Garden '03... wasn't that in the live at the Garden DVD bonus clips, but not from the actual shows? I know Mike smashed a guitar in San Francisco 2006, and Ed tried to surf on it and fell.

    I have always wanted an SG. :) Might get an SG bass some day.

    There is a picture of the guitar hitting the ground on the mobile app. You can see the guitar snapping in two areas, where the neck connect to the body and the head. Pretty cool pick.

    Wasn't sure if he broke it, but you can definitely tell with the closer video. Definitely not an easy fix, but can likely be put back together with a stronger neck than before. Wouldn't be shocked if he got a similar looking SG to smash, as to avoid doing in a nice vintage instrument that he clearly likes playing.

    Eddie gave it the Townshend windmills near the end of the song. In the building where the Who had a concert tragedy. Seems to me to clearly just be Ed paying respect to the Who and PT.

    It wasn't even that much of a smashing. A few tosses in the air, and a few hits on the ground. People are acting like he went berserk and destroyed it into millions of tiny pieces. I wouldn't be surprised if the guitar was salvageable. Didn't even look like he broke it. At least from that video above.

    It looks from the aftermath pics that the neck broke at the headstock and body, but it looks like it did so at the joints. It can be put back together, but just like a racecar that's been in a nasty wreck, it'll never be the same guitar again.

    He had done Windmills and then just went off. Knocked over the mike stand and the cord got wrapped up on the neck and that just pissed him off even more.

    I was on the rail right in front of Eddie and stone and We all saw the progression and called it!!! Epic moment!!
