Just wondering if anyone heard anything about variant stickers on this tour, aside from the Moline "variant" which was most likely a printing error.
I actually just purchased this Milwaukee variant sticker:
that one is so variant 'd that it doesn't have the band name on it... should fetch major $$$ on ebay.
That sticker sold on the bay an hour ago for $8.50 (plus $2.32 shipping) when it's virtually worthless. The clown who sold it just threw the word "variant" out there in the description and people jumped. Supernaut1125, if you're the one who won that auction, I'm sorry, but you got ripped off.
Well I'm the clown that bought it and considering it is a mock of another company and one that is local to Milwaukee, I'm gonna go with it is real. I'm also 100% happy with the $8.50 I spent on it.
Wasn't calling you a clown, was calling the guy who put it on eBay a clown. And, its not real. The guy who made them made one for each city and were designed based on each city. None of which have the band's name on them. I have 6 of the Milwaukee stickers and enough for probably 2 full sets of all the cities. Paid nothing for them. If you're comfortable paying what you did for it that's fine, just don't come in here claiming to have a variant of the Milwaukee sticker, because it isn't. It's worthless. 100% fan made, 0% official.

.... but it's not real. It is probably not even legal. Glad you like it though!
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata
Yea I've got a few of those too. I think the name was left off to avoid any copyright infringement. Some of them have some really nice designs, I was quite pleased with them.
Also got my Moline AP in the mail today and I scored poster #1/100! Makes this hometown fan very happy!
Nice score

Question! How did people get these variant buttons? Were they just available at the merch table? 1st come first serve?
And, the variant buttons i have seen are really ugly actually. or rather lazy maybe is the word. The designer didn't really work to hard on them. When they first surfaced I though they were just fan made because they are not really good looking. Not knocking fans creativeness, but they look like those bootleg CDs from the 90s. Sort of half assed put together.
You are obviously from the sticks if you call it a hoodie! Us sophisticated city folk call it a bunnyhug!

You do know they are buttons right? They went with competitor logos of the venue sponsors so some were better than others. I think some are great like Memphis, Detroit and Denver.
They were randomly mixed in the bags at the merch booth. So you either got lucky when the booth attendant picked one when you asked for a button, or you specifically asked the attendant to find the variant one.
Lots of fan made stuff out there... i enjoy making stuff and handing it out at shows to people we meet. I've also given them away on this site for free. Never for sale.

I think this is a cool idea for a fan made sticker and I get the whole Miller High Life reference. But if you wanted to make it truer to the band shouldn't it say "Low Light" on it instead? Just sayin. . . .
I really LOVE all the Fan-made stuff!! I even remember there being a couple of contests held here on the boards for fans to design a "Badge" for the last few European tours. People posted their designs & then everyone got to vote on their favorite one. The winning badge was produced & given away at shows on the tour! Really a nice friendly competition & I have to wonder if this isn't the whole reason PJ started doing the show specific badges or pins in the first place!!!! :-bd

That Brooklyn one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!The fan made stuff is cool you just have to be careful because they can't allow anyone to use the band's "intellectual property"

I can't believe more people aren't into that BK Memphis poster, same with the Worcester one from last year.
I didn't like the Memphis poster initially, but I bought one because I went to that show!! Once I got a good look at it in person, it really started to grow on me & now it's probably in my Top 3 posters from this tour!!

You see that poster and automatically know it is a Klausen poster. It is a fine poster but my theory is that it is more of the same and so it doesn't get much love.

Average price on Ebeans for Cinci 2014 poster: $131
Price of poster in PJ Goods section for the last week: $35
Yeah, Moline will be a quick sellout, but that's about it. If Lincoln was an EMEK it would be a quick sellout but it isn't. If people want to overpay on Ebay that is their own fault.
The sad realization though is that I spent four hours in line multiple times just for stickers and pins (didn't even buy a poster except from LIncoln since there was a post office next door where I could mail to myself).
Hi, I am looking for the St. Louis, Tulsa, Lincoln, Detroit or Milwaukee variants buttons. I have the 2 ACL variant buttons to trade. Or Werchter or Gdynia buttons. If anyone can help out, drop me a line. Thanks!
