Toronto include the entire GTA and if you don't have one suitable festival location in the entire GTA I feel sorry for you
I don't live there but I can't think of one that you could tailgate or camp at...
Can you camp at Molson Park (assuming that's what it's still called) in Barrie?
I have a feeling Toronto would be one of the least likely of the listed bunch if only because we didn't even get a Lightning Bolt show - and London doesn't count...nor does Buffalo...and don't try to sell me on the upcoming Detroit show!
I think it would be cool to rotate the October 22nd show to different cities and announce it March or April every year to give fans a chance to save up for it, make it like PJ20 where you have special guests and a couple awesome shows, because lets say PJ 25 goes to Seattle or The Gorge, then move to a different location the next year, turn into a week long event and have other bands they invite to play, the possibilities are literally endless, by the way Pearl Jam when are you putting me on the payroll for all these awesome ideas
I vote Philly because I would definitely be able to make it. To have a more "festival" atmosphere it could be at the Woodlands in Dover Delaware (where Firefly Festival is) or maybe even do something like Made In America and have it on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Fingers crossed.
To be honest though, if it happens it should definitely be at The Gorge. I would go anywhere for PJ25. Weather could be questionable though.
Red Rocks would also be nice.

There should be no such thing as PJ25. This band is at its best when touring new music as the last 12 months have proved. Enough with the nostalgia and cash grabs. PJ20 didn't even coincide with their 20th anniversary, it was a year late.

Good Call We are just responding to the OP question though.
Pearl Jam fans are calling the Denver show PJ24 so that is where the whole thing came from, plus 25 years in a row without breaking up is a long fucking time, I have been a fan almost that whole and it would mean a lot to whole bunch of us to be able to celebrate that, throw us this one bone
I was definitely thinking the Gorge when I picked this, not Seattle. I don't think PJ would choose Seattle just because they seem to have a bit of an issue with the Seattle crowds. But you never know, and I'd certainly be happy to attend no matter where they have it.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata

Key Arena is just too small to hold the number of fans that would want to attend an event to celebrate the bands 25th anniversary! I guess they could have a Seattle version of Wrigley & hold the show at Safeco Field, or even one of the football stadiums in town... CenturyLink Field or the UW stadium on Lake Washington, but The Gorge is so beautiful & the site of 3 of the BEST PJ shows in history!! This would be a DREAM event for me!!

Somewhere not too far from Toronto ..... where ever it is, hopefully it's completely general admission. Randall's Island in New York City comes to mind ....
This is one of the places I have to see a show someday, but it's way too small of a venue for something like PJ25. I don't think Red Rocks even holds 10,000 people...that would make it a REALLY tough ticket to get and the demand for an event like PJ25 would be HUGE!!

I agree that PJ is when supporting an album, but "cash grab" is a phrase that should never be used to describe Pearl Jam. I think it's pretty obvious to most that they are in it because they love it, not because they are trying to trick everyone to make some extra cash.

If we all removed our own locations from the thinking, then surely there isn't a better place to hold it than the Gorge!
I live in Columbus Ohio now and can't think of a more PERFECT place to hold PJ25. I did get to see several shows at The Gorge when I lived out in Seattle back in the 90's and it is the MOST BEAUTIFUL venue I've ever seen!!! We moved to Ohio in March of 2000...so I missed the shows there in '05 & '06! Seeing Pearl Jam at The Gorge is definitely a MUST-SEE for me!!

I picked this option, not because I think PJ25 should be held in Seattle... but because you included "WASHINGTON" in the description!!! PJ25 should be held at THE GORGE in George, Washington!! The Gorge is large enough to handle the number of fans that would want to attend this show, and the venue is ONE of the MOST BEAUTIFUL places for a concert on earth!!! A 2 or 3 night run at The Gorge would just be INCREDIBLE!!!
I hereby do swear that I believe PJ 25 should be held at the Gorge, Seattle.
I said London, but manchester UK would be cool, I suppose Seattle makes sense, but last time in manchester I have never been in a crowd with such emotion and passion, my mums last ever concert before she sadly passed away.where ever it is Ill try and be there. Long live pearl jam:)
Wtf, I'll throw in barcelona! Why? Why not? Fuck it! Right on the Mediterranean, shit, could be worse. Maybe be able to catch a champions league game to visca barca!
But my selfish ass would say nyc only cuz it's in my backyard. So HALTS MAUL to you all and fuck speedy and his grill! )
