Don't know about any tours in 2008, but in Mike's Health Talk intereview, I'm sure he mentioned a new album maybe in the Spring! (which means a tour, hopefully).

he talks about going back to the studio in the Spring, that would make an Album at the very earliest in the Autumn (Fall as you guys say).

Heard that before. The 8th album was said to be done by the spring, then it got delayed to the end of 2005, finally came out spring 2006.
Such a depressing thought. What the hell am I going to get up to now?!!!
start saving your money... the next tour probably won't include Europe...!
The US and maybe Oz/NZ i'd guess...
Oh yeah? Well, I've had about enough of morons and halfwits, dolts, dunces, dullards and dumbbells - and you chowderhead yokel, you blithering hayseed, you - you've had enough of me?
Considering it's an election year, I dont think Ed or the band will restrain themselves from not touring and not let their voices be heard.

I say they'll do South America in the fall of 2008 and Oz in spring of 2009 - that would coincide with my year long trip around the world, and it may as well follow PJ:-)

I agree. And hope to hit up some shows!
Believe me, when I was growin up, I thought the worst thing you could turn out to be was normal, So I say freaks in the most complementary way. Here's a song by a fellow freak - E.V

we´d love this kind of thoughts, specially the south america part
I heard Bonnaroo was scheduled already. Someone in The Porch said Jeff came and apoke at their college class and he confirmed they were headlining.
If this happens I think there will be at least a few other shows. That's a lot of trouble to go through to play one festival. I doubt a full blown tour. How about a Gorge warm up show??? I'd be down for that.
I cant wait for the official bonnaroo line up. This will be my first year attending. With or without Pearl Jam I will be there this year. But hopefully with.
Shows:
San Diego 2003
Grand Rapids 2004
Grand Rapids 2006
Detroit 2006
Columbus 2010
eddie is interviewed in the most recent rolling stone and asked if pearl jam will tour for a cadndidate in '08 like they did in '04 for Kerry... he responded "We're going to play some shows, and these issues will come up"... so it sounds like some kind of tour will happen in '08

Not quite, the actual quote is:
RS: Pearl Jam played on behalf of John Kerry in 2004. Can you imagine touring for a candidate in 2008?
EV: I'm going to play some shows and these issues will come up.
So...ED will play shows, not PJ. I'd guess it'd be most likely solo acoustic or maybe an Ed/Jack/Flea tour (that'd be awesome).
Either way, I don't anticipate much PJ action until 2009 at the very earliest.
That depends on your definition of "show". An Eddie solo gig would qualify a show for me. But that doesn't mean they won't do some gigs as a band. There's no telling at this point what will happen next year.

Tell them you love them. Never let the mundane, the unimportant, or worse, the misunderstood, be the final words of parting.
1. PJ have released a greatest hits album
2. Their last album was self titled
3. Ames Bros/Klausen have released a book - '13 years of PJ Posters'
4. The band are really getting old
To me all this adds up to the end of Pearl Jam in 2008.
