Denver - What to do?

My brother and father in law and I are traveling from Texas to Denver to see PJ next month. We get there in the morning, any suggestions of things to do (ie. places to drink ) that are close to the venue? I went to the Wrigley concert last year and the best thing about it (besides the show) was hanging out before the show with like minded folk.

There is SOOO much within a mile of the Show you will have a good time just walking around downtown. I think that area will have a pretty good buzz going for the show all day. I would just hang out and make friends around town!
