If I want front row, that is. I'm thinking about just heading over there around 4pm and hanging out the rest of the day. Some good bands are playing before PJ on that stage; Kings of Leon and My Morning Jacket. The only thing that sucks is that I had really wanted to see Modest Mouse instead of MMJ just because I've seen MMJ a few times already(they play at the same time on Sunday). So is 4pm ok, or should I plan on getting there earlier?

I've got mixed feeling myself. I really like Modest Mouse, so my gut feeling is to say screw it and see atleast half of their set then walk over. Inevitably, there's gonna be a big crowd of 10 Clubbers that will be camped out in front of the AT&T stage at noon if you ask me.

I still haven't decided when I want to go over. Part of me would hate to just stay at the AT&T stage all day, I'd quite like to see Amy Winehouse and Iggy among others. The problem is that I'm only 5'3, and I have the feeling that, if I don't get a spot as close to the front as possible, I won't be able to see anything at all. Something tells me I might just camp out at the stage all day.

there's your answer. you've got to spend the night at the gate tonight to compete with the foaming at the mouth fans for front row.

im gonna get there about 4. i wanted to see modest mouse and yo la tengo, but my gf had such a good time at the vic she wants to be up close and personal for pj tomorrow. plus, finding out mmj was playing with an orchestra tipped her over the edge. since i got my way all day today, i guess i have to let her have hers tomorrow ;)

There's already about 50+ people at the gate right now. Looks like there's a news van there too.

We're going to head over at about 2:30-3:00 as I have no interest in seeing Lupe Fiasco. We'll probably just hang out at the wine bar until he's done then try to make our way a little closer when some of the crowd thins out.

I somehow doubt the crowd will thin prior to KOL. They draw a crowd, and plenty of people who are looking to see them, followed by MMJ and PJ will be there for Lupe and won't be leaving.

I think my plan is to head in around 3pm or so...maybe a little earlier. I think it depends on the weather a bit and how early I can talk my wife into going (that'll be a tricky one) :-)
    Cheers!

People are running for the stage RIGHT NOW. Its a funny visual.

There are people running thru puddles, mad sprints across the field.

there are a LOT of people there already at 11 26am. :D
