What's a good price for Soldier Field LP non-mint colored?

Hey I'm thinking about trying to grab the Soldier Field lp, it doesn't have to be the first press mint-green, just looking to play it. Do the other colors (which it seems there's a ton) vary in value between each other? What's a decent price for this in general? They seem to vary a ton on ebay. Thanks!

Be aware, there's only one legit press, all the other ones are unofficial boots... you can view the official one on pjcollectors.com.

I'd pay no more than $30 for one.

For the bootlegged version, you're right..
the original light green pressing from 1996, is worth much, much more..

Cool thanks guys, that's what I was thinking. I get the original mint colored one is a ton. I'm just seeing all these other colors on the bay for like $75-$200...seems too much for a boot. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't being unrealistic. I'll bide my time. Thanks again!

    I'd say about $40.
Don't see why anyone should or would spend more than that for a crappy fake.

I bid on the real deal (used but good condition) on ebay last week... I bailed relatively early though, since it finally went for $371.66 USD. @-)

The original ones usually go for around $300, while the bootlegged versions are usually around $50.

I would love to eventually find an original for a good price.

Does anyone know how the bootleg copies sound? Certain color better than others in terms of sound?

Have a mint green bootleg copy if anyone wants it. $40 shipped.

The one I brought sounds like crap. I think it's pink.

I have a red bootleg I think. Sounds like crap.
  • Heard a black one. Horrible sound!

These pop up in my local from time to time for around $45 or so, good luck finding a copy for less, except that dude that posted above.

Damiens I went through this same process about 3 years ago. Got same info from other members and decided I wouldn't pay more than $30 for a bootleg copy. Still don't have one! :(
I'll keep waiting though. Just can't pull the trigger even at $40 for 1 bootleg record. Its probably my favorite show ever too, but I already have so much better sounding live PJ on vinyl.

I know Frankie bought one at vintage vinyl in jersey at the gaslight anthem show. I think he paid $40??

Sounds about right. Ive had a couple chances at $40 but I just can't do it. $30 is my limit. Maybe I'm just a cheap ass :-?

For $30 the Australia 98 bootleg vinyl on the bay sounds good.... For a bootleg.

Isn't there an official black pressing as well? Pretty sure there is, at least according to discogs.

No, sounds like you just care about getting vinyl that doesn't sound like shit. I personally wouldn't buy any unofficial PJ vinyl at any price. Not even interested if free. Bad quality, and illegal.
