We all can if u know about discogs or something of the sort. Guess some just want to point and click mindlessly and not research. A lot of people have seem to have more money than they know what to do with and don't care as long as they get what they want. Trust me I see it everyday where I work and I don't mean that in a derogatory way. It's just something I observe to be true.

Can't believe people are willing to shell out this much money for something they evidently have no idea about. One google search would show anyone that these aren't originals. When something is too good to be true, it usually is. Do your research folks )

I have seen a blue Avocado and an orange Binaural at a local record store. They were priced around €50 and the seller insisted "those are rare". Yeah.
I had a look at the avocado in particular and i must say it appeared of really low quality, especially the outer sleeves where even the printed texts were not aligned and kind of blurred.

It sucks the high bidder obviously didn't know they're fake, but what do ya do. $610 for bootlegs worth, well nothing, really. Ouch.

I think with eBay you can retract your bid, within a sertin time limit if you thought the idem was something different. It happens to me once and was able to cancel my bid as long as your in the time frame.

I'm curious, is the sound at least decent on those bootlegs?
Everything else is rather odd: it's surprising to see that No Code has full size polaroids, but then even the front cover in Binaural is all wrong.

Yep,
PJ vinyl prices have gotten so far outta control that people can't wait to throw down their money for coloured vinyl without even checking if they are legit.
shit, what are the originals gonna go for now?

edit: I guess someone realized that these were bootlegs.

From what ive heard the bootlegs sound inferior to the real pressings and most PJ pressings arent great to begin with. Would never pay big money for one of these

Looks like the winner caught on and retracted their bid, which is good to see. It's funny that the seller stresses to read the description, as if to imply the buyer did something wrong, but still doesn't mention they're unofficial records.

Have the official re-issues been any better sound quality wise compared to original issues? I keep hearing people talk about the poor quality of official PJ vinyl.
