Never been to either. First time to the city - prolly have driven thru before - I'm thinking why stop there may just ask for a 5-way!

    The Beer Sellar
301 Riverboat Row, Newport, Kentucky 41071

Downside: Must be 21 or over with proper ID.
Upside: There's a ferry which takes you right to the venue.
Downside: Drinking all day plus a ferry = potential disaster.
Upside: It'll be worth the experience.

If you haven't been to one of these parties before, there's a fundraiser for a good cause. Eat and drink, as a portion of the proceeds generally go to the good cause. There's also usually a silent auction and/or raffle of memorabilia, so if you have an extra Pearl Jam-related whatever, bring it along...it's nice to post what you're bringing, but no need. And no, it doesn't have to be a rare item...buy a shrink-wrapped Binaural CD from the discount bin if you'd like.

You have any idea when the merch stand opens?
  • Where is everyone staying? Is there a hotel within walking distance to the venue or the beer cellar? A bunch of us are coming into town and need good hotel close :)

The Beer Sellar is on the Kentucky side of the Ohio River
and there are many hotels in the Newport on the Levee area.
Here's a website for hotels on the Kentucky side of Cincy:

I'm still not sure why they decided to have the Pre-party over there...
seems like more of a hassle that finding something in downtown area.
