    I'm not entirely sure how I feel about this yet. I'm seeing them on 9/19 in NYC for the first time ever. Beyond pumped.

    Is Billie Joe singing with them? Just playing guitar?

    both but he's mostly another rhythm guitar player.

    Saw them in Atlanta earlier this year at the Shaky Knees Festival. Just as cp3 says, he's basically another rhythm guitar player. He didn't talk at all really.
    Was an awesome experience to hear one of my favorite voices in all of rock live for the first time and I'm excited about getting to see them again at ACL this year.

    Nice! I've yet to the The Replacements ( :-( ) but did get to see PW and His Only Friends in 2005 in San Francisco at the Great American Music Hall and met him after the show. He was dead tired but so kind and gracious to meet fans after the show. One of my all time favorites.
