I saw him this summer at Jones Beach. If you take a hoarse gruff man with a monotone sound then this is what you get.

If you have to see him then do. I'm not hating only saying the truth…

Oh and yes, he will tour forever.

I've seen other legends late in their life- Dizzy Gillespie, Sun Ra, John Lee Hooker, Johnny Cash, Tito Puente, probably a few others I can't think of right now- and just seeing them, acknowledging what they've done is enough for me. I don't go to many shows anymore but if I happened on the chance to see Bob Dylan again I'd go and be glad he's still doing it, even if he just spit shells into a bucket for an hour. One of our greatest living legends. ^:)^

  • I would save your money. I saw him twice last year and he was without a doubt the worst performer I have ever seen including every bar band and kids talent show I have attended. I know he is a musical legend, but I was insulted by his performance.

I saw him 15 years ago and he was pretty bad then. Can't imagine the subsequent years have been kind.

  • I saw him 15 years ago too. I thought he wasn't bad then. Now, he is so much worse. Truly the worst performance I have ever seen. But people still go because he is Bob Dylan.

Tell you what, friends, next time Dylan is anywhere near the Bay Area and you have a ticket you want to dispose of, I'll gladly take it off your hands AND, no fee for disposal (as long as the ticket is transferable. ;-) )
