    i dont necessarily think this is untrue, but its a little soon to tell dont you think? Its quite a conclusion to draw from less than 1 years worth of data. I say the same thing for the drop in crime rate in Denver...rates fluctuate alot so you need a decent data set to make strong correlations. Do states that have longer running CC programs show rates that dropped and stayed lower?

    Could have just been the weather. Weather actually has a profound effect on crime. So do a lot lot of other things. rgambs is right. Way too early to attribute that law to crime rates.

    The awful winter in Chicago has a lot to do with the crime rate going down.
