Hey all !

Just wondering what you did with a similar situation. I bought posters from a fellow member and he was instructed wrong at the post office on the packaging and they arrived to me completely destroyed, which I can tell is 100% due to the shipping.

How did you resolve the situation ?

Is there an insurance from the carrier and do they actually give refunds ?

Thanks for your feedback. Just trying to see where we should go from there so that we both don't lose everything.

Did your sender have insurance on it?

If it was sent priority mail then there is a $50 insurance automatically available.

I had a poster that i sent damaged during shipping by UPS. Luckily the buyer was patient and understanding. The claim process takes a while and even with insurance the seller/shipper must show proof of value. It probably took close to 6 weeks to get the check. I kept the buyer up to date via email at every step of the process. Once I received the refund I gave the buyer the choice of a full refund or the same poster, if i could find it for him. I was able to find it and acquire via trade + cash and had it sent directly to the original buyer. Everyone was happy but it took a while to get straightened out.

Hope all works out, document everything and communicate between the buyer/seller
