    I give him less time than Tebow. If, and that's a big IF, his attitude doesn't get the best of him, a Pat White-style injury will.

    Yeah, unless he grows up really quick, he's not going to make it. I don't get how he can be so cocky. a) He hasn't proven good enough to start...on the BROWNS b) He has looked awful in preseason c) He hasn't accomplished anything professionally.
    I can see why Brown fans are excited, but in time I could easily see them booing that fn clown!

    He hasn't even played a real NFL game and people are already throwing his career away. I'm not saying he's going to be a big star or anything, but I'll hold my judgement.

    The best thing for him would probably be to sit on the bench for a year or 2 and learn, but unfortunately that's just not how the NFL works these days. Teams prefer to throw rookies right in there and expect them to succeed right away.

    He does have a dynamic that can succeed in the NFL.But,he will need to realize he is not playing against kids like he did in college.These are grown ass men who will shut that game down.If he had Kapernicks size may be a different story.
    I thought his pocket awareness was pretty good on mon and a couple times where he woulda run in school he stayed put in the pocket,that showed some progress.His reads were decent also,did a good job of not locking down on primary read.I think his big challenge will be D coordinators will mask and roll coverages showing a plethora of safety looks that will lure him into forced coverages.If he can put in the film study and up his game to meet these challenges the kid could be special.He has that "it" so lets see if he can use it correctly.My money is on he will be fine with a little maturing.
