Mike McCready, @Kenny Mayne, and more are participating in the first ever, CCFA "Rock 'N Jock Celebrity" Flag Football Tournament at CenturyLink Field on Sunday, September 7th.

You can help Mike McCready and PJ raise money for CCFA by becoming a virtual Team PJ member. http://online.ccfa.org/site/TR?team_id=160240&fr_id=4534&pg=team

Sign up to be on the virtual team or just donate to the cause. Join Pearl Jam's Virtual Team with a donation of $250 or more, and you'll receive a limited edition Team PJ shirt. Plus, the top donor/fundraiser can play on our celebrity team at CenturyLink Field! Deadline to be top fundraiser is midnight on Thursday, September 4th. All funds must be accounted for online under fundraisers personal fundraising page. Top fundraiser is responsible for his/her own travel and other accommodations.

Besides the tourney, there will be a celebrity game and other activities. Spectator tickets can be purchased for $10 in advance online or at the door.     Mr. RK's company is a sponsor of this tournament, so he will be participating in the game, I did offer to be 'water girl', so we'll see what happens-hahahhahaha!

    I was at the draft pick last night in Bellevue...some interesting names showed up on the 'potential' and 'hopeful' list.

    This sounds like a fun event. I wonder if McCready's team will be captained by either Dan Cortese or Bill Bellamy.

    I'm guessing this is like the old MTV rock 'n' Jock softball and basketball days from the 90's? Jeff Ament was in the one from '93 :D

    Mr. RK played so I was there all day. His team actually ended up playing against Team PJ (not with Mike, but Tim B's team) in one of the final rounds. Team PJ ended up in the Championship round, they played really well. I didn't watch the championship game, somebody was really sore and tired and wanted to go home-hahaha!

    Said hello to Mike and a few others.
