^^^^^^^love that song.....and this one from the Pretenders....Great lyrics

    "I'm A Mother"

    I'm a mother
    Treat me like a mother
You wanna suck on my breast
    It's no surprise you do
I'm the source and the force
You owe your life to, brother

    Oh
    Oh
    Oh

    I'm a mother
And I take like a mother
    I understand blood
    And I understand pain
There can be no life without it
    Never doubt it
    I'm a mother

I gave you all my money
    To help the family
But what you do to me
    Don't humiliate me
    Remember
    I'm a life-long member

    Oh
    Oh
    Oh

    I'm a mother
    Treat me like a mother
In the middle of the night
I be deep in a dream
    You fancy little company
    You only have to scream
    Loud, brother

    Oh
    Oh
    Oh

    I'm a mother
And I fake like a mother
    I understand time
And it isn't on my side
    But to service mankind
I have to suffer his pride
    Like a mother

    Oh
    Oh
    Oh

    You say your protection
    Is proof of your affection
    If I need security
I'll keep a gun on me
    Oh
    Don't barter with me
    Don't barter with me

    Little sacrifices
    Go straight to heaven
    But hunting season's over
    This is the 20th century
    Oh
    Don't barter with me

    Oh
    Oh
    Oh

    I'm a mother
And I ache like a mother
    If there's a terrible crash
    And bodies thrown everywhere
I'll wrap 'em up and carry 'em
If someone has to bury them
    Brother

    Oh
    Oh
    Oh

    Call upon mother

    I'm the vessel of life
I got the trauma here to prove it
When it's time for me to labour for you
    Everybody move it
    Like a mother

    Oh
    Oh
    Oh

Got 2nd row seats for the L.A. show during the presale. There were no seats available when the pre-sale started, but a few minutes later, Orch row Z came up.....I kept them on the screen, but as fate would have it, my boss walked into my office, so I had to hold-off on the purchase (I still had 7 minutes left to purchase them, so I didn't lose any window of opportunity). Once he left, I tried for tickets on my phone, and Orch row B came up!

Crap no Florida dates....what is it with these musicians/rock bands that avoid playing anywhere in Florida. I wonder where in DC is she playing? ......Just checked she plays The Lincoln Theater and tickets aren't cheap.

upper level seating A OK with me
long gone are the days where i need to be up close...especially in a seated theater
i actually prefer the back row dead center where i can stand and shake if the music moves me to do so. i just don't like being forced to sit cause everyone else chooses to do so. YAWN
can't wait to see her again. don't get me wrong.

I had row E center aisle seats for the Toronto show in my cart, and they disappeared at check out. DAMN IT! I went back in and scored row K center aisle seats. I still might try to improve my seats during the public sale, but row 11 center aisle seats at Massey Hall are amazing. Having already seen Elvis Costello, Blondie, and The Cure this year, and with Johnny Marr and Chrissie Hynde coming up, it's feeling kind of 80's. We just need The Specials and Big Audio Dynamite to announce shows to round off the year.
